Tenant Screening is not just accurate; it's universal. Landlords can request a screening report even without an application with the click of a button.
TenantCloud: We partnered with TransUnion and TazWorks to offer a robust screening report with 10 bundle options available. OurRentRedi: RentRedi's tenant screening process includes basic checks, such as credit and background checks, at $39.99 through TransUnion. Income and asset verification screenings are available for $49.99.
TenantCloud: On all plans, users can advertise on Rentler, Realtor, and Apartments.com with one click at no additional cost. For an additional $30, you can promote rentals on over 20+ popular Internet Listing Services (ILS), including Rent.com, RealtyStore.com, Redfin, Rentals.com, Oodle, Apartment Guide, RentalSource, Rentalads.com, and Zumper.
RentRedi: Automatically syndicates listings on RentRedi and Rent.com for free. Users can list on Zillow Network, for $1.75/day/unit.
TenantCloud: TenantCloud accepts online payments via credit, debit, ACH, and more with no hidden fees for connecting your bank. Online refunds are available with a quick, hassle-free process. Once your account is verified, payments are processed even faster, and tenants can make payments directly through our Tenant App.
RentRedi: RentRedi's online payment system allows tenants to pay rent online. However, RentRedi’s payment system has a few limitations. Once a payment is processed, it cannot be reversed, which can be problematic if there’s an error. Additionally, managing and returning security and pet deposits can be challenging, as the system may struggle with defining and processing these deposit types effectively.
TenantCloud: TenantCloud provides a comprehensive suite of landlord documents starting with the Growth plan, including customizable form templates, addendums, security deposit receipts, and property management agreements. Users have the ability to create their documents right in their dashboard or download PDFs, ensuring you can have everything you need signed online with eSignature.
RentRedi: No lease templates available.
TenantCloud: TenantCloud provides a range of essential reports starting with the Starter plan at $16.50 per month. With the Growth plan, you can easily generate 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC forms directly from the dashboard, simplifying tax season. The Tax Preparation Report aligns with IRS Schedule E categories and offers clear insights into your financial data, available in both Excel and PDF formats. With the Pro plan users can use the Reconciliation feature.
RentRedi: RentRedi's system does not include integrated accounting features, requiring users to switch to REI Hub for additional costs. This involves using a separate login and learning a different system. The pricing for REI Hub is as follows: $25/month for 3 units, $39/month for 10 units, $59/month for 20 units, and $99/month for unlimited units. As the accounting functions are not seamlessly integrated into the main platform, users may experience difficulties in accessing and managing financial information.

Pro and Business plans also feature a maintenance board for enhanced task organization. Plus, with the built-in Move-in/Move-out inspection tool, landlords and tenants can submit direct maintenance requests if they find a maintenance need during their walkthrough. Need to pay a Service Provider for completed work related to a maintenance issue? You can pay them on TenantCloud. Are the damages on the maintenance ticket caused by the tenant? Bill them for the damages right on the maintenance ticket and they can pay it via their Tenant Portal. But wait — There’s more! Start yourRentRedi: RentRedi's basic maintenance system allows tenants to submit requests and landlords can add internal notes, set priorities, and track costs, but this information is not visible to tenants. However, the basic maintenance features are limited. For enhanced support, RentRedi offers a vendor system where requests trigger outreach and vetting. Premium features include vendor management, work order handling, and cost control for $15/per unit, and $25/per unit for full coordination through a vendor system.
