Managing rental properties comes with a long to-do list, and ensuring utilities are set up shouldn’t be a last-minute hassle. Imagine welcoming a new tenant only to realize there’s no water in that bathtub you proudly listed as an amenity - or no internet for their remote work setup. At TenantCloud, we know the details matter, which is why we’re introducing Utility Services - a simple way to keep move-ins running smoothly.

Introducing Utility Services: Because No One Likes Last-Minute Surprises

With our Utility Services feature, you can ensure tenants set up their utilities before moving in, avoiding last-minute complications.

How It Works:

Simplified Utility Management - The utilities section allows you to activate the utilities associated with the new lease or configure the existing one. It’s also where you can enable or disable utilities and send setup requests to tenants. These details are shared with the connected tenants on the lease, ensuring they have all the information needed to get services up and running.

Utility Providers - Require tenants to set up utilities from the list, including internet, electricity, gas, water, sewer, and trash removal.

Tenant Self-Service - Easily select or add utility providers available for the address. Tenants can set up services on their own and provide confirmation documents, keeping you informed without extra steps. If no internet provider is assigned to the unit, tenants can browse available options, select a plan, and request installation directly from their TenantCloud account.

Please note:
If you disable a utility provider, it will no longer be visible to tenants.

At TenantCloud, we believe property management should be effortless. With this tool, you can eliminate the stress of last-minute utility issues and ensure a smooth move-in experience for your tenants.
