Tenant App
September 9, 2024
We’ve been hard at work improving the TenantCloud tenant app both on iOS and Android, rolling out new features and tweaks to make the renting experience even better. Our goal? To keep things simple, efficient, and stress-free, just the way renting should be.
The app is packed with updates that make navigating the rental process easier than ever. Here’s what you can expect:
- Upcoming Invoices Section: This new section displays active and future recurring transactions, showing the date of the next automatic recurring invoice.
- Autopay: Set up autopay for recurring transactions based on a preferred schedule, and rest assured that payments are made on time.
- Publish Next Invoice: Users can now publish the next invoice in advance if all previous ones are paid.
- Ribbons for Listings: Want to spot the standout properties? Ribbons highlight a rental’s best features, like a stunning view or pet-friendly amenities. These Ribbons are easily visible on the map, listings, and even on your recently viewed places, so you can focus on what matters most to you.
- Stay in the Loop with "What’s New": Never miss an important update again. We’ve added a “What’s New” section on the app’s More screen, keeping you informed about the latest features and improvements.
- Create and Track Maintenance Requests: Got a leaky faucet or something that needs fixing? You can now create maintenance requests right from the app. Plus, you can view all your past and current requests in one place. The Maintenance Requests section is easily accessible from your home screen, ensuring you can submit and manage requests without hassle.
- Maintenance Chats: No more back-and-forth emails or phone calls. Our new chat feature within the app lets you communicate directly with your landlord about any maintenance issues.
- Sales Tax on Screening Checkout: Transparency is key. Now, when you’re completing a tenant screening, you’ll see a clear breakdown of any applicable sales tax at checkout.
With these updates, we’re continuing to refine the TenantCloud app to make sure renting is as easy and smooth as possible. And there’s more to come! Stay tuned and download it from the App Store or Google Play.

Listings Advanced Syndication
July 10, 2024
Ever wondered how tech can make renting easier? While we’re not at the point where Alexa or Siri can fill out your rental listings for you (yet!), TenantCloud’s latest updates to Advanced Listing Syndication come pretty close. Imagine having full control over your property listings with just a few clicks—and without the extra headache.
Advanced Syndication Made Simple
With our latest update, rental managers can now pay once and enjoy 30 days of syndication to Rent.com (and over the most popular ILS). The best part? After the initial payment, users can deactivate and reactivate listings or the syndication itself as often as needed without incurring additional charges. Think of this like your monthly Netflix subscription! We’ve also added a handy feature that keeps landlords informed about the number of active syndication days they have left, ensuring they stay on top of their listings without any guesswork.
New Listing Flow: Less Hassle, More Efficiency
We’ve reimagined the listing process to be faster and more intuitive. Whether landlords are listing a new unit or reactivating an existing one, the process is now streamlined. To get started, landlords simply fill out the required details in our listing wizard. When it's time to reactivate a listing, they can easily add the available date, adjust application settings, and select the desired syndication—all from one convenient pop-up window.
Even inactive units are now more accessible! Landlords can list directly from the listing details page anytime, try it now.
Timeline for Listings
To make managing listings even smoother, we’ve added a timeline feature. This handy tool helps landlords track every change related to a listing, from activation to deactivation, making it easy to monitor the progress of each rental unit.
TenantCloud’s updates take the hassle out of rental marketing, letting you focus on what really matters—getting your properties rented, faster and smarter!
